Veo 3.1 lands: what changed for creators
Google's Veo 3.1 (Fast, Standard, Audio) is now Studiark's default video model. Here's what that means for short-form video workflows.
Google's Veo 3.1 family is now the default video model across Studiark. The three variants — Fast, Standard, and Audio — map directly to the tier model: Veo 3.1 Fast on Free and Starter, Veo 3.1 Standard on Pro, and Veo 3.1 Audio with native audio on Business and Enterprise. Studiark does not add a branded watermark; controlled surfaces show a neutral AI disclosure and final files carry signed machine provenance.
Audio-native generation (Veo 3.1 Audio)
Earlier video pipelines treated audio as a separate step: you generated the visual, then layered music or voice independently. Veo 3.1 Audio (Business+) generates both in a single pass. On Studiark, that means the credit estimate you see before committing covers a complete audio-visual asset, not a fragmented workflow where audio costs come later.
For CPG and short-form social work, this collapses a common production step. A 5-second product spot with background music can now be a single generation with a well-structured prompt and camera preset.
Temporal consistency
Earlier models produced clips that drifted — a product would subtly change shape, a character's features would shift between frames. Veo 3.1 holds scene elements more reliably through motion. That matters most for camera moves like Dolly Zoom and Orbit 360 where the subject needs to stay sharp as the perspective shifts.
Studiark's model router selects the appropriate Veo 3.1 variant per tier; on Pro you'll see Standard for cinematic intent and brand product work, with Audio available as an upgrade on Business.
What stays the same
Credits consumed on failed generations remain zero. Veo 3.1 jobs that do not complete successfully will not draw from your credit balance. Rights records, including PRT metadata on model provenance, capture the Veo 3.1 generation context automatically.
Try it
The fastest way to see the difference is to take a preset you have already run (FPV_DRONE or ORBIT_360 work well) and rerun it with the same prompt. Compare the temporal stability across frames. The upgrade is most visible on product shots with clean backgrounds.
